Results of the international exhibition of mechanical engineering, metal working and industrial equipment «Mashprom - 2007»
On October, 9-12th, 2007, Dnepropetrovsk

The international industrial forum «UkrIndustry» took place from October, 9 till October, 12th, 2007 in Dnepropetrovsk Expo-center «Meteor». Within its frames 7th international exhibition of mechanical engineering and industrial equipment «Mashprom – 2007» took place. The exhibition is recognized by the Global association of exhibition industry (UFI) as the international event adequating to the world standards of carrying out of exhibition events.

The ceremony of official opening of exhibition «Metallurgy. Moulding - 2007» took place on October, 9th. With words of greeting to participants and visitors of action have addressed - the deputy chairman of Dnepropetrovsk regional state administration Victor Sergeev, director of company «Union-moulding» Vladimir Ezzhev, vice-president of association of founders of Ukraine Vladimir Karginov.

Director of exhibition company Expo-center «Meteor» Valeria Inozemtseva has noted, that the Minister of industrial policy of Ukraine Anatoly Golovko, the head of Dnepropetrovsk regional state administration Victor Bondar, mayor of Dnepropetrovsk Ivan Kulichenko have also sent their salutatory words to participants of exhibition.

Statistical results of an exhibition:
Total area of an exhibition - 3358 m2.
Quantity of participants - 198 companies.
Geography of participants - from 23 cities of Ukraine, and also from Russia, Belarus, Romania, Switzerland, Germany, Poland, Austria, Turkey.
Quantity of visitors - 4315 experts.
The exhibition has been covered in 24 specialized editions.

During all 4 days of work of exhibition the organizers carried out continuous electronic registration of visitors.
The quantity of visitors for four days makes:
1-st day - 931 persons
2-nd day - 1650 persons
3-rd day - 1218 persons
4-th day - 516 persons

The statistics confirms good qualitative structure of visitors:
25,8 % - owners and-or heads of the enterprises
37,7 % - heads of structural divisions, the main experts
25,1 % - technical experts
10,4 % - representatives of science, mass-media
1 % - regional representatives

The following events have been organized within the frames of a forum:
1. The international business-forum «Mechanical engineering. Metallurgy. Moulding - Ukraine 2007» - specially for heads of Ukrainian companies which are carrying out industrial and commercial activity in branch of mechanical engineering, metallurgy and moulding, the exhibition company Expo-center «Meteor» (Ukraine) and Group LOKIS (USA-EC-CIS) have organized a lot of meetings with foreign partners. The companies, which took part in meetings were from Romania, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Ukraine:
Romanian company «OYAL POLTEKS SRL» has been presented by Mr. Selim Ismail and Mr. Mustafa Goekhan Serin. The company is engaged in manufacture of rollers, disks, wheels with polyurethane and rubber covering, polyurethane spare parts for metallurgical, textile, pulp-and-paper, transport and machine-building branches. The meetings have been organized with 13 Ukrainian companies, presented be TOP-MANAGEMENT of the enterprises from various regions of Ukraine.

Czech company «MCR spol.s r.o.» It has been presented by director - Mr. Stanislav Stastny. The company was founded in 1994 as branch establishment of large industrial German manufacturer of the equipment and is engaged in shavings processing ingots from 1000 mm up to 2000 mm for headquarters plant. Also it is engaged in manufacture of details of knitting machines of the big diameter and industrial washing machines, intermediary services in trade - delivery of knitting machines of the big diameter for textile manufacture of jersey. 11 meetings were organized.

German company «BODENPRESSWERK DAADEN GmbH» has been presented by Mrs. Daniela Gerold. The company produces high quality covers and the bottoms for tanks and reservoirs of high pressure and is one of the leading European manufacturers of cold-formed leads. 14 meetings were organized.

The Swiss company «BELLOLI S.A.» has been presented by Mr. Moreno Tschudi. The company is the manufacturer of various kinds of anchors and thrust systems, and also delivers shunting and miner locomotives and all types of trolleys for tunnel constructions, rails and the railway arrows, bearing parts of arches. 9 meetings were organized.

The Austrian company «MAL GmbH» has been presented by Mr. Hannes Nestelberger and Mr. Wladimir Pichler. The company is the manufacturer of industrial boilers working on natural gas, on hydrogen, on the liquid fuel, rotating torches used in rotating furnaces, as well as the equipment for preparation of roads and stony ground with a method of stone crushing. 5 meetings were organized.

2. 3rd scientifically-practical conference «Modernization and reequipment of the enterprises. Effective technologies of repair and restoration of details».

Organizers of conference: Expo-center «Meteor», Dnepropetrovsk regional state administration, «NPP REMMASH» (Dnepropetrovsk), Priazov state technical university (Mariupol), Association of technologists of machine engineers of Ukraine (Kiev), «TM.VELTEK» ltd., (Kiev), Joint stock company «SIMZ» (Simferopol), «Ilnitsky factory МSО» (Ilnitsa), Dnepropetrovsk center of innovative development.

Target audience of conference: heads of the enterprises, services of the chief engineer, main mechanic, main designer, design organizations, scientific institutes.

3. Seminar-practical work: «The accounting of expenses for manufacture».

Organizer: «Balance-club» ltd.

Target audience of seminar: heads and bookkeepers of industrial enterprises.

4. Seminar «Presentation of new cell КSО 393 17 VМ with the divided compartments, safety adequating to increased requirements and reliability».

Organizer: «Southern electrotechnical company» ltd.

The international exhibition «Mashprom», in 2006 received quality symbol of UFI (Global association of the exhibition industry), seven years successively proves the importance in development of such leading directions in the industry of Ukraine as mechanical engineering, metal working industrial equipment.

Responses of exhibitors also mean a lot.

Ilyukovich Alexander Budimirovich, director of NPP «Tepris» ltd., Ukraine (delivery of equipment for metallurgical, pipe, machine-building branches): «We participate in exhibition in order to acquaint consumers with our production as well as to find new clients. We take part in exhibition already for the fifth time and every year are happy with results. This year the tradition has not changed».

Vasily Svirsky, the representative of Gibas Numeriek S.R.L. company In Ukraine, Romania (sale of metalcutting equipment): «We participate in exhibition with the purpose of promotion of production in the Ukrainian market. Active modernization of material resources of many industrial enterprises now begins, shops are modernized and demand for our equipment is raising. We did not expect such great demand. For two days of exhibition our stand was visited by larger quantity of people than at all exhibitions in Ukraine together. At other exhibitions there are more experts among visitors who have no powers for decision-making. At this exhibition many directors of the industrial enterprises who have powers for signing long-term contracts got in close contact with us. We shall participate in this exhibition next year by all means».

Zenon Hajtko, general manager of «KOMERC» company, Poland (manufacture of chains and cogwheels for different industries): «We have decided to participate in this exhibition because we wish to enter Ukrainian market. We take part in this exhibition for the first time and are already happy with preliminary results. Many firms wish to cooperate with us and to be our representatives. We have seen a great demand for our production here. We also liked the organization of exhibition. Thanks».

Fech Evgenie Sergeevich, the representative of «Hurco» firm in Ukraine, Germany (manufacture of the metalcutting equipment, mechanical processing of metal): «This is the first Ukrainian exhibition on which we represent our equipment, and an overall objective of participation was to acquaint representatives of the industrial enterprises of Ukraine with our production. The contacts at this exhibition were very numerous and not only on sale of our equipment, but also on delivery of the additional tools to our firm. We did not expect that demand for our production appears to be so huge. We have found several buyers for our expensive equipment at this exhibition momentarily. Next year we shall definitely take part in this exhibition».

Grigoryan Anton, expert in marketing, «ТD ROBUR», Russian Federation (sale of metal processing equipment): «We participate in this exhibition with the purpose of presentation of our production in the Dnepropetrovsk market. We took part in many exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad and we have enough with what to compare this exhibition both on attendance and on the organization of exhibition. And I can tell that the forum «UkrIndustry» is at high enough level. We liked it here, therefore we shall participate next year».

Bardan Dmitry Vladimirovich, manager on sales of «Summit» ltd., Dnepropetrovsk (sale of welding equipment, technical services): «We participate with the purpose of acquaintance of the consumer with world welding equipment. Our company is happy with preliminary results of an exhibition, there were very many contacts at this exhibition. I can evaluate the organization and the advertising campaign of exhibition as perfectly well done».
